Spray tanks are often setup in rural locations when large volumes of water need to treated for excess iron. These are quite costly and require plenty of maintenance, some of this can be automated usually the back flush of the sand beds. Consideration of how to dispose of the large amounts of often toxic waste needs careful planning too.
